Nature on the Go!
In efforts to expand our educational mission, we are happy to announce our Nature on the Go! programs. Inside of our traveling box of education is a world of wonder with live animals, preserved specimens, hands-on materials, and fun activities designed to engage, excite, and teach. Nature on the Go! programs can accommodate all age groups including adults, and are perfect for schools, libraries, scout groups, club meetings, etc. Programs last one hour, meet state science standards, and can be tailored to your group. For additional information, or if there is a subject you would like to see as a Nature on the Go! program, please contact Brad Sale.

Winged Wonders
Raptors, song birds, wading birds, and waterfowl are just a few types of birds that call the park home. In this class, we will take a look at the many features these birds exhibit. From bills to legs to feathers, we will explore the different functions that make the world of birds so diverse. A small walk along the swamp boardwalk and several activities reinforce this newfound knowledge.
