The most common snakes are harmless water snakes, (brown, banded and red bellied) greenish rat snakes, black racers, king snakes.  We do have venomous snakes at the park.  The most likely venomous snakes that you might see are the copperhead and the cotton mouth water moccasin.

Yes, for groups of 15 or more the charge is $2/person.  We also have AAA discounts.

Yes.  Canoes rent for $3 per 1/2 hour and kayaks rent for $5 per 1/2 hour.  All rentals are due back by 4:15 p.m.
